Tabaxi

The catlike tabaxi were one of the first races engineered as slaves, and as such they are also the beast race with the most living as freedmen. Tabaxi were originally designed to be used as warriors, with their innate strength and grace intended to supplement the army. However, they have often proved popular as dancers and acrobats for the same reasons. Circuses owned and operated by freed tabaxi are one of the most common ways for those of the stone caste to make an independent income. 
Tabaxi tend to be a little taller than humans. Tabaxi populations originate from big cats that were used as a base for genetic code; for this reason tabaxi in rain forested areas tend to look similar to tigers or panthers, whereas more western tabaxi may resemble lions.
