Summary

Foci are specialized versions of a material that automatically store energy through the existence of naturally or artificially formed Filamentary Atoms within them, known as Free Filaments. Through the Intonation of the Celestial Tapestry from a living being, these Foci can be activated and their release of energy can be controlled, allowing for their use in many elements of everyday life.

Artificially Generated Foci Types

• Catalym – When a person uses an object for a long time either as a conduit for their power or otherwise, or places a massive amount of their own energy and filaments into an object within a short period of time, or a steady but high amount of their own energy into or through an object for a length of time, they can create a Catalym. This is a Specialized Foci that is either created from a previously existing Foci or Non-Foci material, entirely aligned to the one who created it. Through the same Intonation Resonance that they use to control their power, the creator of a Catalym can use and eventually control the object as if it is part of their own body, as the Filamentary atoms within a Catalym are no longer free, but aligned to the person who created the Catalym. This creates a Celestial Core associated with that object that allows them to control it as part of their power
• Lunaric Object – Named for the Fae, the first to discover this, a Lunaric object is an object or material Foci in which more than 50% of its atoms are Filamentary Atoms. Such an object is created through the Purification process of a very distinct number of Aspectral powers nearly exclusive to the Fae. When aligned with a person, it is easily controlled as part of one's own body, even without specific training.
• Entyc-Seed Object – Named for the Ent-Dragons, lowest of the energy beings called the Entuorbis, this occurs when an Ent-Dragon infuses itself into an object. It being an independent entity, this means that synchronicity with such an object may be difficult, but would result in near-world-altering levels of power.
