Mysterai - Force of Balance and Change (mist-AIR-eye)
Overview
"All things exist in their highest form in a state of balance. For every inhale of a breath there must be an exhale. Light must be counterbalanced with Darkness. All things adhere to the balance so that life can exist, and the Primordial force of Mysterai governs this balance, and the changes needed for its upkeep."This Primordial Force denotes the changes in the properties that all things undergo in order to provide balance. It is the force by which all things live. Mysterai is a force that by its very nature prevents stagnation. It can alter the properties of things that exist to balance out against other forces. It softens metal, hardens earth, dims light, and brightens darkness. It is what allows for Flux to exist, and allows for people to breath it without harm. Nearly every mystery of the world, every naturally occurring phenomenon that could not be explained through normal means, has almost ubiquitously been traced back to this force. Living up to its name, the ramifications of its existence have yet to be fully understood, even in the modern era.

O | 1 - Mysterai Sensing - Mysterai is unable to be sensed unless the player has at least 1 point in this sphere. From that, they can sense its occurrence in nature, as well as intrinsically know its nature altering properties when mixed with energy/material. 2 - Universal Control: Those with control over Mysterai have a base but minute control over all material and energy. This expands with more points in this sphere, with maximum control being moderate control over all elements (Example: Bonfire's worth of flame), starting with minute control over the elements (Candle's worth of flame) |
OO | Mysterai Infusion - The player can infuse Mysterai into elements under their control, granting it the strange alterations of properties that Mysterai causes. |
OOO | Mysterai Expansion - The player can infuse Mysterai into an element before controlling it, expanding their Universal Control to 3 times their normal capabilities in both fine control and amount controlled. |
OOOO | Mysterai Multi-control - The player, so long as they have infused Mysterai into the element, can control multiple elements at the same time, up to a cap of 4. |
OOOOO | Wrest Control - Through a direct infusion of Mysterai into an attack, a player can use Mysterai to attempt to take control of the material or energy from the attack in the altered form. The player cannot be controlling any Mysterai Infusions in order for this to work at this sphere level, but can control 1 Mysterai infusion for every 2 sphere levels beyond this level. |
OOOOO O | Elemental Balancing: Players at this sphere level can sense elemental imbalances, as well as methods of using Mysterai to restore the natural balance in an area, even if they are not capable of fully solving the issue themselves under their own power. |
OOOOO OO | Mysterai Reinforcement: Players can use an infusion of Mysterai to stave off internal changes to their body of a non-magical nature (the effects of toxins, fatigue, diseases, etc). They can also use this power to sense energy imbalances in others. |
OOOOO OOO | Grasp the World: Players at this sphere level have double their previous max number of individual Mysterai Infusions under their control (8). They can also combine them. |
OOOOO OOOO | Aura of Elemental Calm: Players at this sphere can use pure Mysterai to regulate the ambient energy in an area, suppressing excess energy from being generated. This has double the effect on users of majyk, and can effectively silence their ability to cast majyk from within the Aura area. |
