This title is granted to players who treasure information over prowess in combat, and hunger for information that lies away from the common fold. This title cannot be taken by
Endless or players with the
Fey descriptor.
Effect
This title does not grant bonuses in combat, but earns the player the interest of those who maintain the
Akashic Record. Whenever you see a book, scroll, computer, USB drive, picture, or other form of media that contains information that could be useful to you (and that you don't already know), the book will glow softly in your vision. When searching a body or container after combat, you may invoke this title before the reward is determined by your GM, and media as described above may be added to the party treasure (typically determined by a d100 roll, GM's discretion).
