Effect The Caliginous Embrace does not affect the unliving. The victim loses 7 Hit Points upon contracting the curse, and an additional 7 HP per track -- this loss can’t be reversed until the curse is ended. The curse’s track is the Charisma Poison track (Core Rulebook 417). A creature that dies from the curse becomes a pyric revenant 24 hours later.

Cure The victim must benefit from two successful castings of remove affliction within 1 minute, or be granted relief by the Caliginous Soul on Ezorod. A healing ability of equal power (such as those granted by another Elder Numen) may negate this curse at the GM’s discretion, acting as if Carrot removed the curse himself.
