Emilia Song is an Angelic Aasimar that has forsaken her heritage. She is a powerful servant of the Crawling Chaos, and once threatened the Infinity Petal to such a degree that the Warden was forced to imprison her in the Calamity Prism. Emilia was freed Iterations later at the beginning of the Phoenix Eclipse conflict, after Mist — acting as an aspect of Bard — interacted with the Prism for the first time.

Emilia was born three Iterations past at a small coastal refuge in what is modern-day Irrisen, roughly two-hundred years after Earthfall. While initially seen as a good omen in such dark times, Emilia lacked the empathy shared by her Angelic ancestors, and by her teenage years had a reputation for wandering in the nearby woods, often not returning home for days at a time.
This is known only by a scrap of a journal recovered by historians decades later, thought to be written by Emilia's mother, found frozen in a chest near the sea. No other written record of the village or its people exist, only their bleached skeletons and ruins mark their existence — even the name of the village has been lost to time. After this pit in history, Emilia began to appear in Osirion and Tian Xia, always at the strongholds of the Old Cults.
While not known to mortal historians, the System knows that Emilia Song was an instigator of the First Army of Exploration in Taldor, and led many of the crusades that came afterwards. She also led several attempts to revive Ulunat in Osirion, but was stopped by Calamity before her near-success, and had been imprisoned until recent events.
