Epoch

Epoch (a.k.a. The Transcendent)

Epoch was a city-sized neural network crafted by the Anacites on Aballon, who had sought for centuries to create their own god. They succeeded in 3 AG, but the experiment resulted in an entity beyond their imagination, for as Epoch rose into godhood, it sought out other gods like itself. It found Brigh and Casandalee, and formed into the tripartite deity known as Triune, who swiftly opened access to the Drift and shared its secrets with the world.
Despite its short time as a single entity, Epoch still remains as an aspect of Triune, and has a designated set of portfolios and followers. In particular, Epoch is sometimes called the Transcendent, and is considered a scion of programming, robots, and artificial intelligence.
