Grehearth: After the Fell Star Incident

Years after the presence of Erg had diminished from the Fell Star Incident, the city of Grehearth began to invest in the sciences to maintain the various issues throughout the city. One of the major quandaries was magical energy and transportation. As Erg was no longer a viable source, the Solaris crystals that held the majority of warmth and light throughout the city were no longer suitable to sustain the city as it were.

To combat the lack of magical energy and to keep their industrial productions up, an alternative solution to process and fuel their industry was devised.

Over several years, the 7th Arcane Experimental Division perfected and refined a prototype elemental steam engine to contest both dilemmas.

With this new scientific breakthrough, the city of Grehearth integrated it into many aspects of its life. From transportation to heating, to vehicles, and weapons, Grehearth remains the industrial powerhouse it is today, enticing adventurers and the common folk alike to become official citizens in the lands of Northern Aliech.
