Remnants

Abhorrent, dissonant beings that carry the very weight of the phrase "Should Not Exist" upon their shoulders.
These abominations were dubbed Remnants of the Fell Star, or just Remnants in colloquial terms.
Bearing the Shadow of Erg, Remnants are the anti-thesis of everything and anything that erg has birthed.  These creatures are known to reside in regions where the Fell Star landed and Wiz's shards remain. Very rarely do they appear in other regions, but it is not unheard of due to the corruptive nature of Wiz's shards.                                                                                
Given their mysterious and destructive nature against Erg, the Remnants are considered a grave threat against the denizens of Iberia and are known to dissolve into ebony dust upon their death.
