Biography

Worshipped across the lands of Kirinokuni, Shinano No Mikoto is revered and respected as their most devout divinity in the region. Tales of its existence have been hereditarily passed through speech between farmers and warriors alike. Its presence has perpetually been signified by the sounds of winds, the ripple of sands, the thrashing of the ocean, and the stilt of soil that descends from the mountaintops.
Those that follow it, place a tremendous amount of discipline in one's lifestyle. To preserve balance. To never kill, and ensure peace above all else. 
Prayers to this divine are said to be delivered every day. Those that fail to do so, undergo the consequences of being consumed by the monstrosities hidden by its blessings.
Descending from the skies as a shadow of mist, it provided an extension of itself. A blessing from the skies. Delivering unto them, their savior in a time of war and strife during the Era of the Disputed Lands. Dubbed the Eternal Emperor Yin, it swore to unify, protect, and guide them under the hands of the divine of Shinano no Kami.
Under its Law, the land could not harm, lest they harm themselves in turn. The Disputed Lands would cease almost immediately as a result. Proud warriors would be rendered judgment by the divinity as Evil, and innocents would be slain in the name of Good for the sake of balance. With its Law enforced to such a degree, the beastkins could no longer reasonably fight, and in turn, surrender their weapons.
Thought to be made from the same ash dispersed from its body, they are considered one and the same by their followers. The Capital of Kirinokuni is named Shinano by the royal mandate of heaven via the Emperor themself.
