Campaign Design and Levels
Below are the examples of how I design my campaigns, please give your input below on what level of difficulty you all want for your campaign. As a reminder, these difficulties can change depending on your actions on the campaign, and howthe world reacts to it. EX: if you're playing a regular campaign with a B combat and a C social but you kill the lord of the region, the combat and social increases to S or SSS.Exploration and Survival
- C: Little to no travel
- B: Some traveling around
- A: Traveling is essential and dangerous in the material plane
- S: Possibility to travel to other planes
- SSS: the warp brother, have you heard of it
Combat
- C: Little to no combat
- B: Regular amount of combat
- A: challenging dungeon crawl
- S: you're literally behind enemy lines
- SSS: behind enemy lines and you're surrounded
Social
- C: Little to no social events
- B: Some level of events that can be important to the campaign
- A: Social discussion that may impact the whole campaign
- S: Possible campaign changing dialog
- SSS: imagine convincing your parents that bitcoin was good in 2010
Mechanics
- C: Entry level to learn the general mechanics of my DM style
- B: Moderate level of complexity of the campaign
- A: Challenging mechanics of bosses and dialogues of NPCs
- S: Testing your ability to big brain in difficult situations
- SSS: You're going to have to be lucky in your rolls and even more skillful against unfair situations
