Tristan Grehearth

He was in the truest form, a hero. To reward him for his resplendent deeds, the people declared that this new land would be bequeathed in his name.     Grehearth.   Yes.   That is what this land shall be named after.   ---

Biography

As the third child of his family's lineage, Tristan Grehearth was not ascended from godhood as some may consider him to be. Son of the Chieftain of Cael Grehearth and his wife Melia Grehearth, most of his childhood was one with the sword and the arts. As Tristan excelled at both, he left his hometown of Rubita to adventure and explore the world of Iber of what it had to offer.   Through these adventures, he would meet and recruit individuals of various races. Many of which play or have played pivotal roles in their respective lands. From establishing intercontinental trade routes, and even inter-species relationships, there was little else to say regarding his youthful life. Accomplishing what no individual had done so previously, he was heralded as a man of the people by all who had met him.

Hero of the Land

Eventually, after his journey came to an end, Tristan later returned to the lands of Rubita. After being notified of the Fomorian Invasion from the isles of Mo'ra, he quickly gathered more information as he returned. It was stated that these Fomorian soldiers were clad in red robes brandished themselves as the "successors" from another realm. They would cite that this land was rightlyfully theirs according to the pretense of their god. With claims to the land, they began their siege on a peaceful land that rarely knew war. This would later be known as Battle of Mo'ra.   Enlisting the various comrades to aid him in his time of plight, he returned to the lands of various ruined towns to lend his guiding hand, he eventually obtained a following that heralded him as a divine from the Pantheon of the Holy Trinity.   From the scorched battlefields and desolated villages, they emerged victorious against the Fomorian God-King whose name was Balor. Utilizing the Divine Greatsword "The Requiem" -a Coldsteel blade blessed by the Feywild's Queen- Tristan slew Fomorian God-King Balor, routing the remaining Fomorian forces. As months passed by and as the lands of Mo'ra were sealed, the populace looked to Tristan for his continued guidance. While he was not a figurehead of leadership, he knew his duties well. Additionally, he had many comrades who were up to the task and could assist him in this, leading to his continued support of the people.

Aftermath

Taking the role to unite the remaining survivors, he assisted with the founded the City of Grehearth, establishing an oligarchy of respectable individuals whom he could trust with the development of the city until it could learn to live on by itself one day. Tristan later vanished from the Material Plane afterward when his duties were completed. All forms of tracking led to no avail when contact was attempted. What truly happened to him remains a mystery.
