Wings of Estella

As one of the first Empires in the world, the Nirath Empire has amassed a vast quantity of quality trained soldiers for bred for warfare.
Named the Wings of Estella, they are a group of old battle-hardened veterans whose number now running thin due to their expenditure in battle. With many casualties leading them unfit for battle, now they have been replaced by the new generation of their people, alongside a new technology named the Magicia.
The oldest generation prior to the foundation of the Magicas was known to be excellent soldiers who boasted the abilities of flight within the area of Estella's protection. With a vast sum of experience, they presently play a pivotal role in teaching the new generation of modern warfare, though others may decline to do so in lieu of seeking combat.
The newest generation finds themselves competing in mock battles and simulations. On paper, they are the ideal soldiers, if they had any experience. As a result of the Magica's battle prowess, and a change in society to value life, they have become sheltered to a degree of experience when compared to their veteran counterparts. Instead, they function as Operators that command Magicas to fight from afar. Giving orders and instructions from miles away, they obtain their valor from afar with the help of the Magicas.
With such a drastic difference in mentality and warfare, many of the new generations would find themselves striving for the ambitions of the old. Many would begin to leave the organizations in lieu of obtaining valor and experience elsewhere in the world before returning to showcase them in their homeland for the war effort.
