Pascant
The predominantly halfling country of Pascant is located on the south eastern side of the continent in of Marquest on The Southern Plains. While not a country, kingdom, or nation like the surrounding realms Pascant is comprised by many different halfling cities, towns, and villages. Each settlement sends its own representitive to attend sessions to address the state of the country and other topics that might be tabled.
The people of Pascant have band together to create a land where anyone can thrive at what they are good at. From the age eight age the children of Pascant both girls and boys begin their studies. This public education only last until for seven years and the education is based on the fundamentals of living both also serve to assess what form of a profession a person might be good as well help them learn what potential career they wish to enter. At the age of fifteen these youth graduate and are allowed to pursue their interests in order to help them further discover who they are and what their calling truly is.
The species that make up the citizens of Pascant also tend to distribute work loads to the appropriate people. In this manner halflings are great cooks and farmers who are naturally gifted with agriculture so they handle many of those responsibilities. The humans of Pascant tend toward jobs manual labor such as construction, sailing, and commerce as well as making up the majority of the countries military. The Dwarves of Pascant are well known for their ale brewing, blacksmithing, and masonry.

The people of Pascant wish to enjoy their way of life, they believe you get what you put it, treat people as you would like to be treated, and accept others for who they are not who you want them to be. They are a peaceful folk but have no tolerance for anyone who would impeed on their way of life or think usurp
