"Net" Realities

Even before the Tear opened, this reality was still an unstable one. Coined the term a 'Net Reality' by the on again and off again supervillain Doctor Gale Graves (also known as Arch-Lich), it is believed that the reality has been broken for some time and seeks to repair itself by latching onto other reality and taking pieces of them to fill its holes. These pieces are woven into the reality and its history in such a way that they appear to have always been a part of it and are only noticeable by those who have spent time outside of the reality.
Simply put, pieces of other similar realities often merge with this one and become native to it. Time itself rewritten so that those new and old to this reality can't even realize that a change has occurred.
((Simply put, other settings that fit in well with the Edge of Infinity setting are welcome to be considered part of this world rather than visitors to it. Most modern settings fit in well, particularly settings such as Marvel and DC. Such characters are welcome to be 'from this reality' rather than displaced visitors.))
