The Arisen

(The Arisen are an NPC faction, and with the exception of certain named individuals may be used by any roleplayer in their scenes.)
Even demons can grow tired of hell with its endless wars and politics. The arisen are a gathering of such dark beings who have decided to leave all that behind and take advantage of Atlantica's weirdness and its laws allowing for the immigration of beings from other realities. Now living in Port Atlantica, these demons on Earth have gathered their mortal followers and formed a criminal empire.
The Arisen were behind much of the formation of the Nine Rings entertainment district, running much of the legal and not so legal business in the district. Like the mob, but the important members of the family are all demons from hell. For the most part they play things straight, participating in ordinary crime, bribing the city's authorities to look the other way, and running a protection racket over the district. But now and then a deal might be made if a soul is tempting enough.
The Arisen are run by Enamour, a succubus with significant influence both on Earth and back in Hell. She's had centuries of experience and uses her skill and powers to keep her 'family' safely on Earth. Avoiding becoming a target of Atlantica's law, Hell, and Heaven alike.

Demons: Various demonic members of the family with a variety of special powers and dark magic to utilize. Though most of the time they are disguised as humans until their true forms and capabilities are needed.

Gangsters: Common if organized thugs equipped with mundane weaponry.

Imps: Lesser demons. Some are capable of minor magic and powers, but most just use claws or guns.
