The Dread Throng

Casimir was told he had the potential for the mystical arts, but everywhere he looked he just could not find anyone willing to teach him. Heroic and villainous mages alike turned Casimir down for his unpleasant attitude, bumbling nature, and shrill voice.
But he didn’t give up, if no living wizard would train him, he’d find another way. Finally after years of searching he discovered it, the lost Staff of Keres! The staff spoke to him, claiming to be a former wielder of the staff who’s soul had entered the object, and promised that if Casimir followed his instructions and bound his soul to the staff, he’d be the mightiest of mages!
Unfortunately for Casimir, the staff’s goals are as mysterious as they are confusing and he finds himself raising up undead minions in the Port Atlantica outskirts and harassing the people there. Perhaps not the best place to build an undead army as very few of the servants he conjures actually have any fighting experience to draw from. But every now and then he gets lucky with a capable dead warrior.
And unfortunately for the staff, Casimir is still a bumbler, and it’s impossible to unbind his soul from the staff.

Common Goons:

Cackling Skeletons: Common living skeletons with little actual combat skill, ordinary medieval weapons, and are very simple minded. Vulnerable to being smashed but resistant to being stabbed or shot thanks to no internal organs.
