The Scar

(The Scar are an NPC faction, and with the exception of certain named individuals may be used by any roleplayer in their scenes.)
Named after the ever-present, unmistakably scarred bodies that all of its members have, The Scar is one of the more unpredictable gangs in Port Atlantica, and one that has made its home in the East Pierside. Composed practically exclusively of brawlers, fighters and assassins with skills in martial arts. For the most part, they are seen as an unruly bunch who only seeks to cause problems and pick fights with anyone that could pose a challenge. That includes nearby gangs, law enforcement, superheroes and even supervillains.
There is, of course, a bit more to them than just being a group of battle-hungry maniacs. In truth, the gang is merely the front or the most evident face of The True Scar, an ancient order of martial artists from all over the world who believe that true strength is only achieved through greater challenges, and only through fighting foes stronger than oneself can one grow. A philosophy that has led them to try their hand at Port Atlantica thanks to all the strange that lives in the Island.
The order and gang are led by The Unyielding, the ancient leader of the order and strongest of its fighters at any given time. With the current Unyielding allowing the gang to take in criminal activities to support itself and test themselves in battle against Atlantica's people.

The Worthy: The upper echelons of The Scar order, members who have proven themselves against numerous foes and have developed superhuman skills and powers. With many of them able to control Qi and similar life forces in their battle and assassination techniques. They are formidable foes

The Marked: Rank-and-file members of The Scar gang, most of them straight brawlers or martial artists. Vicious and reckless, they are skilled in hand to hand and armed combat. On occasion, they might also have some Qi powers.
