Choose a target within range. Thunderous energy crosses through the target location, as if a lightning was returning from the ground to the sky. The target makes a Dexterity saving throw: on a fail, it takes 1d8 Thunder Damage and it has Disadvantage in Perception rolls that rely on sight or hearing until the end of its next turn. On a failed save, it takes half the damage but no other additional effect is applied.
At higher levels: This spell’s damage increases by 1d10 when you reach 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8).
