Seth Mendez

Seth Mendez is a Hispanic treasure hunter, mercenary, world explorer, and historian. Born and raised in Mexico City, Mendez’s fascination with archaeology when he was young. At the age of six, Mendez visited the ruin of Tenochtitlan with his uncle almost every weekend. As Mendez grew older he would visit the library often to read up on ancient societies. After graduating high school, Mendez moved to Berkeley, California where he earned his degree in Archaeology majoring in Mesoamerican culture as well as minoring in ancient Japanese history.
Mendez soon began making quite the reputation himself by accepting ‘hush hush’ jobs for private collectors as well as some ‘unfriendly’ nations. At the age of 29, Mendez joined the expedition to find the lost tomb of Alexander the Great, along side notable archeologist and author, Kevin O’Connell, junior archeologists, Clair Rain and Maxine Taylor and junior historian, David Hanson. After returning, Mendez was personally hired as a mercenary and spy by the notable ‘Brotherhood of Faith’ to track down any religious artifact of supernatural abilities and kill anyone that knows about it, or gets in the way. Shortly after, Mendez met Clair Rain again while attempting to steal the Tonbokiri spear but was stopped by Clair.
It wasn’t until six years later that he was notified about the translation session of some Mayan stone tablets at the National History Museum by his contact; skeptical Mendez went along to humor his contact, though he wasn’t expecting much to come of it. With the news of a possible location of the Fountain of Youth revealed, Mendez began foaming at the mouth about a massive payday; almost immediately after leaving the Museum Mendez notified his contact before jumping on the first flight to the Yucatan.
