The Weeping Woods

Comprised of mostly redwoods and other sequoias and often saturated with thick-set fog, the Weeping Woods are equal parts enchanting and menacing. Most folks stay near the peripheries of the woods, avoiding the deep center. The elevation of the woods shifts constantly, but never a great deal. Were you to strip the area of trees, it would be a large rolling hills dotted with rocky crags and outcrops.

The outer west side of the woods features many herbalist farmsteads, where Tortle & Human farmer/gatherers produce and harvest many herbal components for brewers, scientists, and mages.

A few gnome townships populate the east side of the woods, where they farm and tinker to their hearts content.
