Uq'l'ye

Uq'l'ye is the modest, but storied main city of Uq'ran. The stone & clay architecture of Uq'l'ye is remarkably unique to the region, looking quite unlike any other island. This is likely due to the higher Half-Orc/Orc population. For better or for worse, the Orcs have mostly fled to Eastern side of the island and live in isolation.

In present times, Uq'l'ye has struggled to keep up with other neighboring Island nations. The bureaucracy of their government struggles with corruption, in spite of best efforts to curtail it. The regional mining industry, while not directly owned by the Uq'ran government, is heavily regulated and taxed by it.
