Battle of Cracking Cliffs

The Battle of Cracking Cliffs was one of the bloodiest days in Ephirian history. In an ancient war between the men of Ephiria and the Creonemian Empire, Creonem was at an advantage, wielding more magical power and bearing one of the Havenblade fragments, and was pushing its forces into Ephirian territory. The Ephirian armies mounted a final stand, slowing the forces in a gap in the mountains. The forces of Creonem brought powerful wizards and sorcerers, who would eventually bring ruin to them all. As the Creonemian troops pushed into Ephiria, the Ephirian sorcerors called lightning from the storms above and shattered the mountains, crashing the troops of both armies and signaling the end of any conflict as both sides struggled with the thousands lost in this day.
