Circumspace routes

Circumspace routes are a common way of movin through the Galaxy, as it uses almost no energy and can help save tons of money on transportation and fuel to the user.

Inner workings

Circumspace routes work as Circumspace travel does. Essentially, a genius piece of engineering within the machine/vehicle forces time-space to warp around the vehicle, creating a bubble of relativity around the vessel and its tripulants, and essentially moving them through time instead of space. This bubble of relativity catches to everything around and within it, and kept simple, creates a constant warp of space in front and behind it which forces the vehicle to move forwards. It all works as a wave, in whose center is the vehicle. This "wave" creates an unbalance on time-space, warping towards the axle of movement, creating an energy void in front of the vehicle and sending the energy just behind the "Relativity Bubble", essentially forcing the energy to be dissipated as trying to re-stabilize space-time by making the void on the front be replaced again by some of the energy just behind the bubble, essentially creating an energy-space-time wave in which the vehicle could be said to "surf" forwards at incredible speeds.

Big companies have made it a secret how to make these small machines, but its basics are widely known, as mechanics and aficionados all around the Galaxy are able to repair them if they have enough time and the right tools. What is publicly available is that the machine itself somehow modified the structure connected to it, essentially making everything within its "Projected Relativity Bubble" stay intact which modifying a small portion of Space-time around it.

A common misconception about the technology is the common believe that just by touching the vessel about to enter the Circumspace it can rip apart the matter itself of which the object touching the machine is composed of, essentially vanishing whatever touches it. In reality, it has never been reported about someone or something touching a vessel about to enter Circumspace, since all entrance to Circumspace Routes are outside of gravitational fields of celestial bodies, but even if it did happen, not only would the entire person be dragged along the vessel without noticing any acceleration, but the person/object would be dragged into the Relativity Bubble of the vessel, making no noticeable navigational, energetic or travel time difference. It'll go'boom-boom, ay!

Another common misunderstanding about Circusmpace travel is the Relativity Generator, the machine that makes it all possible. Many people, even advanced and well known engineers and mechanics have an uncontrollable fear towards the machine, fearing a masive devastating and uncontrollable explosion that could originate from pressing the wrong button as it would with a Compression engine. This fear is another prove that people tend to believe what they are told, since there is no possible way of a Relativity generator to explode, having no fuels, but even if placed right next to a fuel, it would have no way of igniting it. The machine mainly uses magnetic fields, so there is no possibility of any hydrocarbon to ignite on contact, even once opened. Ain't we gettin' old tho'? Even after many, many Galactic-wide campaigns promoting Circumspace travel, there just seems to not be enough proof for some that Space-time can't be slowed down or accelerated, what most scientists believed was absolutely for granted centuries ago because of gravity and magnetic forces. It has been proven that gravity and time-space don't interact, and time in and outside of a Relativity Bubble are the same, with the exception being the Zone of Contact (zone which is influenced by the Bubble and is what makes the Bubble connect to the normal Space-Time "Universal Grid"). This being said, time doesn't slow down or speed up while being in a Relativity Bubble, but rather stays the same as in any other point of the Galaxy, and so people do not and can not therefore age faster or slower by being inside or outside of it, as many might think. Gonn'be a moved one, eh? Many people don't understand the concept of time and space being crashed and compacted, even less they could think about understanding how space could be stretched or elongated, so most try to understand the massive speed as if they were accelerating, thinking about usual planetary aerodynamics, and not about space void and relativity which guides Circumtravelling vessels. This said, people expect there to be an acceleration the moment a ship jumps into Circumspace, but there actually is none, since the space itself is moving and there can't therefore be any acceleration or moving point within the system created by the Relativity Bubble, essentially making no changes of speed within said system.
