Galactic Senate Building

Located in Granto, Azimo, the GSB is the most important government organization in the entire Galaxy. It was built just after Azimo stablished contact with the first planets and was later under control of The Empire and rebels throughout its history.

Purpose / Function

The GSB has a huge room dedicated to host conferences about common Galactic interests and those of the members. The room hosts space for a maximum of a 1000 Nabilus. Each Nabilus represents the presence of each member, carrying 2 senators and 2 counsellors representing said member on each Galactic Session.

By general rule, a member is each of the inhabited planets members of The Core that has complete self-governance or is allowed by its controller to have a Nabilus to itself. There are a few exceptions to this rule:

• If a planet is controlled by more than one organization and both of these are sustainable and recognized by the other, both of said organizations will have their own Nabilus
• If a moon has enough independence from its mother planet or said planet is not habitable, the moon will be granted its own Nabilus.
• If a body has more than one sapient species, both native or severely dependent from said body, each species will be granted its own Nabilus unless they decide to share one.

Architecture

The building itself hosts an architecture comparable to a classicist one, with roman alike columns and a huge spherical room where small vehicles called Nabilus can get off the wall and go to a center point where all other people can hear and see clearly the speaker.
