Corcien

The Empire of Corcien, or simply Corcien, is a large Kingdom with a highly centralized government under a powerful human dynasty. Queen Fhaona VIII rules from her fantastic palace just outside the burgeoning capital at linesse, one of the largest cities in existence. The countryside outside of the cities is both pastoral and wild, with the massive forests of the Darkwood forming much of the southern part of the country. Humans, half-elves, halflings and gnomes are the most common people here. The ruling class in Corcien is heavily aligned with the celestial church

Demography and Population

Mostly Humans and Half-elves with halfling, Dragonborn and Aarakocra minorities. Large population of rural Elves in forest settlements.

Religion

The Celestial Order has official state support. Redemptionist and Leveller adherents are numerous but suppressed by the state
