Ke'Kant
Slave's Cant
A cant, similar to thieve's cant, developed by the enslaved Kenku of Oman. It uses the nature and emphasis of a word repeated to communicate information. For example, a noun, regardless of what noun, can mean something in specific, such as "This place" or "That Place". A verb, on the other hand, can mean "danger" or "be alert". So when a Kenku repeats a spoken sentence and says something like "Wheel Fly" it can mean something along the lines of "This place is dangerous". The cant is usually supplemented with emphasis, volume, and hand gestures. This form of communication has been invaluable for the Kenku slaves, as their Omani masters have a difficult time understanding its logic, which from the outside appears to be incoherent, badly performed repetitions of their own words.
