Dorromio
"In the gentle hills of central Elmara lies the village of Dorromio, which used to be a fort on the border of the old kingdom of Para. Over the centuries it has been the home of several noble houses. When the fort lost its strategic importance people from the region settled within the walls and the outer courtyard filled with homes and shops.
Dorromio is located on the Coast Road, about halfway between the the city of Termodi in the west and the capital of Varrava in the east. Both cities are about 3 days worth of travel away. As such the village sees a lot of people passing through.
When approaching the village you'll see it from a long way away, sitting on a hills covered in a patchwork of fields and farms, its terracotta rooftops sticking out over the walls.
Inside the walls you'll find a collection of buildings with ivy covered walls. A handful of cozy streets wind between the homes and shops that the village has to offer. The most notable are the Castle Crossing Tavern, where travellers will find fine food and lodging. Jalia's Pleasure Garden also offers rooms, but for a different purpose. Ramea the Tailor sells some of the finest attires in the region.
Within the keep resides the Countess of Dornazzo. While the ruler of Dornazzo used to hold varying levels of power in the past, these day the title is mostly a symbolic one, and the countess has very little control over the region, or even the village itself."
