Kalstor
"In the land of Knurden lies the grand coastal town of Kalstor, the most powerful and influential settlement on the Broken Coast. The town is fortified with a strong wooden palisade and a floodable ditch, which protects it from enemy invasions. Three sturdy wooden bridges span over the trench, providing access to the town from different directions. Kalstor Castle and Keep, constructed with massive stones and bricks, stands tall on the southwest coast. It serves as a military stronghold and the seat of power for the lord of Kalstor. Within its walls lies a well-guarded vault that holds the town's most coveted treasure - an ancient dwarven scepter of mysterious powers known only to the ruling lord.
Legend has it that the scepter was once held by the ancient dwarven kings, and the founding clan of Kalstor discovered it near the Hammarkin mountains. The clan was captivated by its power and brought it with them when they founded the town on the coast. However, their taking of the scepter angered the dragons that lived in the mountains, and they forbade the people of Knurden from ever returning to their domain.
Kalstor boasts several attractions, including various taverns and shops. The Smithy, situated within the castle walls, produces top-quality weapons and armor for the lord's army. The Westgate Tavern, located near the western gate, is a popular meeting place for locals and travelers alike. The Temple of Kordus, the Lord of Order and God of War, is the principal religious center of the town, while the Shrine of Thenya, the Faerie Goddess of Elements and Natural Disasters, and the Shrine of Eyra, the Faerie Goddess of Skies and Winds, are revered by the townsfolk. Multiple docks line the southern coast, where long ships dock after their long voyages, bringing in exotic goods from far-off lands."
