Saov Vara

A Magic shop run by the Mage Zacharias of Gelibol

Saov Vara [Ghost Store in Elder Speech] is the name of a magical emporium run by the mage Zacharias of Gelibol. An eccentric alchemist and collector of magical items, Zacharias has made his shop a safe haven for mages trying to find equipment and ingredients away from the prying eyes of the Redanian Witch Hunters or the Nilfgaardian Mage Hunters.
The shop itself is within the city of Lan Exeter in Kovir, but most of its patrons arrive by portal or teleportation spells. Due to the nature of the shop, Zacharias has built up quite an extensive network with many of the mages that have escaped persecution, and often works as an intermediary between different mages.

Zacharias of Gelibol

Description: Medium-length, dark brown hair hangs around a narrow face adorned with a pair of spectacles, and a small, well-groomed beard. Tall for a human, with a somewhat slim frame. Attire: Dressed in a white shirt and a tan wool and leather coat, black trousers, and a pair of knee-high leather boots.
Zacharias is a strange man by any measure. Originally from Redania, he fled from Radovid's Witch Hunts and bought a small property in Lan Exeter. With the influx of mages to Kovir & Poviss, Zacharias made a fortune resupplying displaced mages from all over the Northern Kingdoms.
A scholar and alchemist at heart, Zacharias is always working on some kind of experiment, though he often gets himself in trouble for blurring ethical lines. Nevertheless, Zacharias' connections have kept him out of any serious trouble, and the desperation of mages fleeing to the north has kept him in business.
