Often referred to as 'bat chatter', or 'chitter calls', Cloud Song is the official language of the Chiroptix. It is an ancient language that has many layers of mastery to it, even among its own people. In an attempt to bridge social gaps with other nations, the Chiroptrix leaders of old encouraged pairs to foster younglings into learning other languages alongside Cloud Song. Few modern Chiro's speak Cloud Song in it's pure form because of this. It is primarily reserved when speaking to close family, speaking to crowds of their people, or sending messages over long distance. The 'clicks' and 'snaps' most often heard in their 'ch,' 't,' or 'c' annunciations of common are in fact the lowest frequency clicks they are capable of making. Ancient texts suggest that a Chiro sage once sang to the heavens and her people in the far south (other continent) heard her, which saved them from a great disaster.
