The Cargill Nations

Cargill, in hopes to reduce their meat production costs, established four different sovereign nations. However, at the same time they had invested in the heavily successful Memphis Meats, and their production of lab-grown meat products began to grow. By 2060, even with the reduced production costs, the only profitable producer was Cargill South. Slowly and quietly, Cargill removed support for these nations. They are guarding the borders in order to "fool" the United States that they still maintain control of Cargill North, East and West.
No one is truly fooled that these lands are actually wild Free-For-Alls.
