The Coalescence of the Cosmos

  • when the planet Elarvis was still young it was inhabited by a people called the Faennere. they were magical beings that revered and worshiped the stars as they were created from the very dust left over from the great burst of the Phoenix Nebula
  • the Faennere's appearance were that of beast and humanoid combined. feral bipedal magical creatures with knowledge of what lay beyond their planet and within the universe as a whole
  • though the Faennere traveled all about Elarvis, they settled mostly upon an archepelago of islands, nine of which were the largest and most prominent.
  • there were great cities, powerful monoliths that used the stars as energy to disperse for all of the inhabitants
  • For many many years these people thrived, their minds collecting more and more information about the great expanse beyond them.
  • The Faennere longed for more knowledge of the stars, as well as the power that their energy could provide.
  • An idea was sparked and soon it caught like wildfire, spreading to every mind and soul of the Faennere. They would conduct a massive ritual, using the power and magic of astral projection, and they would all project themselves at once beyond what they have already discovered and studied
  • the immense amount of magic that was created when the Faennere coollectively astral projected did something that they did not forsee happening
  • their minds and souls all coalesced into nine massive bundles of energy, each one hovering above one of the great islands, slowly growing more and more as the faennere, one by one, were collected into the balls of power
  • these balls rose into the sky, mini stars created by the knowledge, passion, love, and dreams of every Faennere upon Elarvis
  • in a blinding flash, they dispersed, and each one flew across the cosmos until it settled into their new spots, the final stars to finish what would now be nine great constellations - the gods of the Cosmic Domain
