Tzitzimitl Is the God of the Realm of the dead. He appears as an older, poor man with black hair and a full beard. his key defining feature is piercing golden eyes. His is existence is well known, however His methods and how he acts is mainly left up to speculation as all those who meet him. often meet him moments before they are put to eternal rest.
Many people fear him as he is death and believe he only appears to consume the souls of those who have passed. Others believe him to be kind & gentle drifting dying souls to an eternal slumber In actuality He is a Divine entity who experiences no Joy or Sorrow from his work, Only an undying sense of duty. a duty to bring those who are ready to die to a places where they can find rest. He will not take a soul unwillingly to rest he will let them cling to their fleeting life for as long as they wish in the halls of the dead. Waiting endlessly.
Those souls that cling to life may also choose to try and fight to regain their lost life. Tzitzimitl Will accept a souls challenge as many times as they wish. In a battle with Tzitzimitl It is not possible to die as that has already happened. The souls are simply battered shaken until they surrender. There are legends of unparalleled warriors who have achieved immortality by defeating Tzitzimitl each time they die. each time reborn with new life and vitality, until they meet him again. but these are just legends.
