Ichor-Rose Liaudath

Listen, kid, the company provides an extra pistol as part of our equipment. Keep it on you at all times, whether you're asleep or pissin'   -I don't care how heavy it is, keep it on you, and never fire it at the enemy unless you're sure you're going to die soon after. There are a few creatures prowling the wastes out there that you're going to wish for this pistol if you end up in their nests, and not for the monsters.

A species of monster that crawls out of the ruins of Once-Flying Prothos, that shares its form with that of kind of spider, though it's number of legs and actual anatomy would not align with the definition of spider, nor the average size. The Liaudath is larger than even the largest of war horses,   The "Ichor-Rose" it's named refers to is a bundle of crystalline thread that the species keeps on the end of its abdomen in preparation for use, which resembles a bouquet of flowers if said flowers' petals were the color of freshly spilled blood.   They're a communal species, and construct massive crystal-woven structures that serve as their nests in the northern ice wastes of the Brumel, as well as appearing in a few places across the globe in small numbers. Once their nest is constructed, hunter morphs will go out and find prey. Other monsters, most of the time, but they're not picky when it comes to human flesh either.
The Liaudath is particularly hated by the Northrent Campaigns, the Tsarinate's ongoing attempts to reach and raze the crash sight of Once Flying Prothos, as they often stalk te armies camp at night, dragging away sentries and sleeping individuals, never to be seen again.   Mothers in several Tsarinate nations often use the Liaudath as a motivational tool for naughty children.
