Atreus

Atreus is a member of the Triumvirate of Miros, controlling their military forces. Atreus was born to a noble family in Sekiran, having his every need and want catered to from a young age. Everything being handed to him frustrated Atreus, he sought to prove himself. His family had hired instructors to teach him in the art of combat, but he wanted to put those skills to the test. Atreus took to the underground fighting pits to test his mettle in combat. In the pits, Atreus took on a different persona, he donned a helmet and went by the name Pantheon. Almost immediately in his first match, "Pantheon" was crushed, unable to even land a single blow on his opponent. Now, even more frustrated, Atreus began training on his own, getting stronger. Once he felt he had trained enough, he went back to the pits for another fight, and again, he was crushed. This did not deter Atreus in the slightest, he continued his training and going back to the pits.   On one of his trips to the fighting pits, he was approached by a towering man wearing a flashy, purple fur vest. The man introduced himself as the boss of these pits, Kyros. "I've seen you get beat over and over again, but you just keep coming back. I like that, kid. Come with me." Atreus followed Kyros into a backroom. When they walked into the room, Kyros signaled with his hand and all the women in the room left, leaving just Atreus and Kyros alone. Kyros took the throne-like chair at the center and motioned for Atreus to sit at the couch across from him. Once settled, Kyros began to question the young Atreus, asking him where he's from, why he's here, and most importantly, how is he training. Atreus told his story and Kyros silently listened, nodding along. Once Atreus was done, he sat silently, awaiting some apparent judgement from Kyros, who was still staring at him, seemingly lost in thought. After a few moments, Kyros broke the silence, and told the young Atreus he would be taking him under his wing.   From then on, Atreus was trained by Kyros himself, Boss of the fighting pits of Agutare. Kyros took Atreus all over Agutare as he visited each of his fighting pits scattered around the continent. After a few years of rigorous training, Kyros told Atreus he had nothing left to teach him, and instead, the pits would be his teacher from now on. And so, Atreus fought in the pits across Agutare, following Kyros around, learning of new and different styles every time they visited a new fighting pit. After another few years of this, Atreus had made a name for himself (under the alias "Pantheon") as the top fighter in all of Kyros' fighting pits, second only to Kyros himself. After an especially easy match in the fighting pit of Ramos, he was approached by a mysterious man. The man told him that here in Miros, merit is valued above all, and potential even more so. He offered "Pantheon" an invitation to the country's best military academy, where he could learn strategy and refine his technique further and enhance his fighting with tactics he can't learn in the fighting pits.   Atreus told the man to give him some time to think. From there, Atreus approached Kyros and told him of the offer. "Listen kid, I can't keep you here forever, and while you're a money making machine, you can do better than my pits. So go on, make something more out of yourself. But when you make it big up there, remember who got you there in the first place. Take care, kid." With that, Kyros gave Atreus his blessing, and with tears in his eyes, Atreus left to accept the man's offer. With the acceptance of the offer, the man revealed himself to be Azorhai, the current Heart of Miros himself. Atreus was enrolled into the Ramos Military Academy on the recommendation of Azorhai. While there, he quickly rose to the top the school, graduating as the best of the academy. After graduation, Atreus was acknowledged as the best in Miros and earned a spot on the Triumvirate as the Might of Miros.
