Related to : settlement: Negmat, Building: Murkfort, Organization: Demex
This title is unlike many in Demex in that it is not hereditary or predicated on specific initiations. It is instead granted directly from the ruling Consort of Six and ratified by the thirteen generals of the Demexian Military Forces.
The current position is held by a demon named Brazgunith. He took over the position from the previous lord named Bradit Corovan almost ninety years ago. Many believe him to be over four hundred years old and has gone by other names previously. While Demex is more welcoming of demons than most nations, the military leadership has periodically tried to replace him to little avail.
This is largely due to the fact that in order to replace a Lord of Murkfort, not only does the general have to vote for a replacement but show a form of incompetence to the Consort of Six. The current consort has refused any such evidence of incompetence.
Supervise training:
Murkfort is the premier training for generals and the elite forces for Demex. The three elite forces are the Greys (Sniper forces), Scarlets (Heavily Armored fighters), and Shadow Fangs (special agents). The Shadow Fangs appear to be almost completely loyal to Brazgunith, and are not under any general’s assignment. A great many of the Greys and Scarlets also appear quite devoted and loyal as well. Many generals worry they report more back to Brazgunith than to their assigned regiment.
The training produces many fantastic warriors, with excellent physical traits. Strangely some recruits do not leave with the same eye or hair color, some even appear to have increased in height or had childhood deformities disappear.
Recovery:
It also acts as the capitol’s military hospital and recuperation space. They have an excellent recovery rate, even with their very limited divine healers. Their treatments are not allowed to be observed and usually include a lot of screaming. Even lost limbs and supposedly terminal illnesses are cured here. Many however are glad to leave that place. Not a few who enter the hospital emerge as fanatical or sociopathic zealots.
Some suspect that the limbs regenerated are not the limbs of those who entered but grafted from another source.
