Orac

The Orac is a wild predator similar to a coyote. With large ears, stiff bristled tan hair they hunt in small packs. Their particular difference with coyotes is in their ability to hypnotize their prey through their songs. It has been said their songs can even lead to prophetic dreams and they are often sought after my mystics and loners for the hope to have questions answered.   The association with chaos, prophesy and power makes the Orac central too many mythological stories and fables. The Orac's powers are over fertility, the natural world and the light of the desert. The name of the orac comes up quite frequently in Evanis sayings and poetry.   The twin tailed Orac is rumored to be sentient and capable of great magic and the giving of gifts. Of course it is also known as a wild and devious creature. The great Orac is the final judge over tests of courage and fear. He is revered as a great spirit who controls the destiny of other creatures and peoples. To attack a twin tail orac is to invite death and destruction on ones' self. Many stories of would-be-heroes have been cut down by a prideful run in with the twin tailed orac.
