Desert Gators are notoriously temperamental and difficult to train. Only the most skilled and courageous of animal trainers dare to attempt rearing and handling them.
In their natural habitat, Desert Gators are pack hunting predators, preferring to work together to take down larger prey. Capable of long leaps, Desert Gators usually ambush their prey from a distance, leaping up onto their prey and latching on with their powerful jaws in order to drag their prey down.
