The Dalelands

4 Tarsakh 1368 DR

It is 1368 Dalesreckoning. The Dalelands have had their share of conflict over the decades and the current years are no different. There are rumors of drow stalking the forests of ancient Cormanthor, the foul Zhentarim have continued their control of Daggerdale and the northern roads, and Cormyr has been pushing up from their coastal lands in the hope of taken resources from the southern dales.   Randal Morn, the Lost King of Daggerdale, has been waging a guerrilla war against the Zhentarim who gained control of his lands. Having spent over two decades trying to wrest control from the evil clerics and wizards, he is growing restless and ever more violent.   The Harpers, a secret organization for good in the Realms, has been keeping an eye on Morn and the Zhents. Now, worried that Morn's sanity is teetering, they are moving pieces into place that may topple both Morn and the Zhentarim.   Who will the adventurers side with? And will Daggerdale finally be free of the evil wizards who control it?
