Egefride is the daughter of Reeve Graeme and the power behind Ispam's day to day operations. Egefride manages the food taxes, harvests, and gifts her fathers owes to the various thegns throughout his land. Few question her ability to keep things running, but they have started to wonder why her father has not married her off to one of the local thegns. Rumors' persist that he is powerless to do so as Egefride has a mind of her own and her various suiters have found it increasingly difficult to earn her father's blessing.
