Valdor Bloodworth, despite his bad start in life, has gotten far. He lived his childhood on the streets in the poor part of the city, before being recruited into the army. It has not necessary been a 'from rags to riches' story, but he now leads a content middle-class life with his mother and sister, still working to protect the Holy City, Zaetron Derraz. Up, until of course, he stumbled on something he probably shouldn't have, and has recently found himself in quite a pickle, asking himself; What's a warlock?
