Banu Haqim

“The Dead can not cry out for Justice.”
While all clans originated in the Middle East the Banu Haqim spread their influence to the west far later than the other clans. How ever they didn’t just spend their time in Alamut weaving baskets. No they had influence over regions ignored by their cousins. And when their cousins wanted rivals taken out with no trace back to them, all they needed was send some of their vitae to Alamut. The Clan of the Hunt would do the rest.   In recent nights large swathes of the Clan of the Hunt has fled their ancient fortress. A methuselah had risen from torpor and began to reinstitute the ancient blood cult. Those Assamites who followed the Islamic faith and any who rejected the blood cult fled and sought admittance in the Camarilla.   The Clan of the Hunt seeks to embrace warriors and those with a legal mind regardless of ethnicity or faith. A law student and a wounded war vet are just as prized for the embrace.

Culture

The Banu Haqim hold strong moral codes and value those who seek justice. While many Banu Haqim are from the Islamic world and still hold their faith in Allah, the members of the clan do not look down on members who follow their own faiths.

Mythology & Lore

“Haqim was the Judge of his kind and the kine. He was everything the law should be. Patient, listening, unbiased, and able to execute the sentence swiftly and with no doubt of its finality. The others of his kind began to loathe their brother and so they sinned with out relenting. So Allah sent a flood to wipe out their city and struck each of the 13 with a curse. Haqim was caught in the cross fire. His judgement of the others became his curse, our curse. Their sins permeated their blood and Haqim thirsted for it. If he could not convince them to walk the moral path then he would devour them. No Haqim thought. They are my family still and perhaps there is hope for them. The others fled to far off places and spread their influence around Europe and later the Americas. Haqim stayed in the Middle East and built the fortress of Alamut. When judgement is needed we deliver it.”
