“The Madman. That is what the other’s called him. His true name was Malkav the Pious. He had been blessed by his father with visions and he foresaw the destruction of Enoch for because of his brothers numerous sins. He pleaded with them to change their ways but they only continued to indulge in their dark desires. Heartbroken he left Enoch and found a place atop a high mountain. His tears for his brothers only added to the deluge that smashed apart the walls of his home. In his grief the Madman cursed his father and threw himself into the torrent below. He thought he was ending his existence but instead he sank into the sleep of ages. When he awoke he found that his mind was fractured. He also discovered the children of Seth had survived the flood, built a new society for themselves, and they let his brothers sink into myth. The Madman started to hear whispers in his head. The whispers of his brother perhaps. They told him of all the dark desires he could enjoy, that he would be a god to the children of Seth. So Malkav was baptized in the blood of the kine and he arose under a new name. Moloch.”
