The Split

We're sending a swarm out to investigate a split in the back of the world. A previous swarm found it while searching for a new wall. It circled wide at first, testing the atmosphere's temperature, only going closer when it determined this split is cooler and calmer than the Heat Seam.
We don't really think the Singer is there. They didn't enjoy going very far into the atmosphere because of its thickness and coldness. This split is even thicker and colder, enough so that the first swarm was too uncomfortable for a thorough investigation. But it does mean that, when we do find the Singer again, we will be able to give them news of a place they haven't been, instead of the other way around.
