The mysteries and oddities on Foxspint Isle continue to amass. Skamos Ea and Karick Stahland spent a few days delving deeper into the wilderness and exploring the coast. There were the remains of a campsite on a distant beachhead—signs that we may indeed have more neighbours to the north. Fisherwoman Miss Kite also offered to help construct a weapon thay may be suitable for clearing up the supposed Underdark Fissure that lies in the middle of the island's hilly region. The recipe evidently involves some risky hunting.
The big tale of the day is the discovery of a sunken shrine or cloister, also sequestered away in the hill lands. Within was a strange and terrifying crab-monstrosity, with fearsome strength and fury that only the toughest armor and will could repel. Our adventurers used a chokepoint to their great advantage, slaying minions and keeping the beast at bay until it finally succumbed to their assault. It left behind a strange artifact, now in the hand of The Airspear Origin Society for further investigation.
