What happened to Speare & Redmead?

According to Graves Nemerlang, two humans named Falon Speare and Melford Redmead arrived about a month prior to Nick & Karick. They explored Foxspint Isle without incident, then set off to Dorbard South and haven't been heard from since. Last contact was on Deadpoint on 6, Sleeping Spring.

Quest complete

In late summer 3460, Adventurers Karick Stahland, Fiona Quapple and Nulla Luck discovered an abandoned camp on the northwest tip of Dorbard South. The journal of Melford Redmead suggested that the pair had attempted to cross the channel to Little Dorbard on a canoe. Knowing the strength of the currents in this area, it is extremely likely that they were swept away into the ocean and are presumed dead.
