While many Gods suffered from the loss of followers and temples during the Deluge, there were others who were empowered by it. Oceanic and Aquatic Deities swelled in power as many prayed to them for safety and protection. However, many of these powers aren't benevolent, and their patronage can be even more dangerous than their wrath. Some cultures re-established their connection to Gods long forgotten or reinforced their devotion to the ones they already had. As of now, the Divine hierarchies are still in flux, many trying to subsume the shared portfolios and followers of others to amass even more power.
