Albarech Gundhri

Albarech Gundhri

Albarech Gundhri was a scholar who lived in the city of Katrapetch during the early years of the Long Thaw, shortly after the construction of the Royal Palace. He was a member of the Court Circle of Katrapetch and responsible for assembling and cataloguing material that had made its way into earlier and more chaotically organised collections throughout the city, helping to ensure historically important documents were preserved within the new vaults under the Royal Palace, where conditions were more suitable for keeping scrolls and texts of all kinds.   Albarech's notes assisted Clarise Vabatan when she was taking part in a review of the Royal Palace library over ten thousand years later at the start of the Time of Terrors, as she writes in her infamous Diary. Without his work and notes the notorious Crimson Codex would never have been rediscovered, a hundred centuries after his death.
