First Ascendant

The First Ascendant was the title of the leader of the First Popular Ascendancy, a title which was borrowed by later incarnations of the same political philosophy, which put democratic principles at the heart of its systems of governance.
The first ever First Ascendant was Claire Argin, the original founder of Arginbury and at the time that she was elected to lead the First Popular Ascendancy, already the Mayor of the town.
